LPQV – Infrastructure Transformation Drives Growth

The company has been in the market for creating virtual stores, websites, and digital marketing since 2011. In 2020, they wanted a bigger challenge, which led to the idea of LPQV in April 2020.

LPQV developed a multi-user system for creating landing pages with integrated transparent checkout, exclusive to the dropshipping audience, which is a virtual store without any inventory. The platform has partners from Brazil, China, and the United States.


The Problem

In addition to developing the platform, it was necessary to structure the entire marketing strategy for the big launch. It was a year of intense work and study to bring LPQV to life while also juggling their other company that has been in the market for over ten years.

Another concern was the changes that would be necessary in the infrastructure for the new solution to achieve the best results and the impact on the costs that would come from these changes.

It was also necessary to create a scalable, performative, and secure solution. This would allow the company to bring agility to its processes and, most importantly, reliability in relation to the services provided by the IT infrastructure.

The Challenge

There were many overnight work sessions at the office, liters of energy drinks and coffee to ensure that the project could be completed within the deadline since the launch date had already been announced. They were committed to achieving this.

The proposal for the new solution was complex. While there were only platforms for creating virtual stores, the company had the idea of delivering a different and more complete solution, meeting a great need in the market.

Another challenge was how to create a scalable infrastructure to support variable workloads over time.

LPQV did not have expertise in these technologies, so they sought a partner to support them.


The Solution

With Nuvme’s help, LPQV restructured its infrastructure in AWS. Kubernetes architecture was implemented with CICD and GitOps for their PHP applications.

The Kubernetes architecture proposal aligns with the client’s higher number of developed APIs, making the AWS EKS service the best approach to achieve the next level of container architecture.

Using AWS DevOps services, the applications work in an automated, scalable, and highly efficient manner.

The database was also modernized, with scalable resources from Aurora MySQL. Additionally, several optimization actions were taken in the database to ensure high performance.

In addition to the infrastructure changes, Nuvme through its FinOps services accompanied the entire process to keep the costs within expectations. Even after the project’s completion, constant improvements are being made to ensure better service within the contracted cost.

Throughout the process, there were several obstacles, but with the solid partnership and commitment from both parties, it was possible to successfully complete this project.

The platform is constantly evolving, and e-commerce modules integrated with landing pages and transparent checkout have already been launched.
